#REVIEW: “BEFORE THE DAY”
Told over six minutes, BEFORE THE DAY is a story about unconditional brotherly love and how crisis can bring us closer. Ray (Paul McGillion) is scheduled to begin Chemotherapy tomorrow and younger brother Danny (Steve Belford) is there to help take the edge off as they plan to spend a night together which sees them get into trouble and maybe a mechanical bull might even be involved.
Written by Belford and directed by McGillion, in few words captures the gratitude one can feel simply by having someone there and it is impossible not to be touched by this.
Missed BEFORE THE DAY at the 2018 Canadian Film Fest? You can catch it next in Stratford as Belford hosts a free Mini-Festival on National Canadian Film Day (April 18, 2018) which includes two Short Films including this one and a Feature Film.
