Transcen|Dance Project, the company behind the sold-out productions Eve of St. George and A Grimm Night, is bringing back its two-time Dora-nominated immersive show Ophis this January at The Great Hall.
We’d love to have you join us for the exclusive media preview on Thursday, January 8, 2026 ahead of the public run from January 9–18, 2026.
Named after the Greek word for “serpent,” Ophis reimagines the myth of Medusa through movement, music, and mythology, a powerful, immersive experience where audiences don masks and explore four floors of The Great Hall, uncovering hidden scenes and intimate performances that lead to an all-new finale.
Julia and the entire TranscenDance Project team are thrilled to be remounting Ophis and making it even fuller and more dynamic this season, with new scenes, more one-on-one interactions with the cast and extra details added to the set.
This season also marks the exciting return of cast member Sam Darius, who plays Poseidon. Sam joins the remount fresh off a stint in London, where he performed in Cabaret in the West End and appeared as a dancer in the newest Wicked: For Good.
