Have you ever heard of cell-based meat? Me neither, but it has the potential to reduce land use by more than 95%, climate change emissions by 74% to 87%, and nutrient pollution by 94%.
Filmmaker Liz Marshall explored the topic of animals being used for food, fashion and entertainment in The Ghosts in Our Machine. She returns with MEAT THE FUTURE which explores the benefits and potential of cell-based meat, or growing animal cells to harvest seafood and meat.
