Just For Laughs Group’s Francophone TV division, Juste pour rire TV, has signed a three-year deal with Netflix for three French stand-up solo specials as part of Netflix’s ongoing commitment to supporting Canadian productions.
The first of the three specials will be filmed in 2023.
This new deal comes on the heels of Netflix and Just For Laughs Group teaming up on the release of Mathieu Dufour at Bell Centre, which was filmed at the 40th anniversary edition of Just For Laughs/Juste pour rire MONTRÉAL comedy festival last July.
