The buzz coming out of Sundance has been unanimous for Questlove’s directorial debut in Documentary SUMMER OF SOUL (…OR, WHEN THE REVOLUTION COULD NOT BE TELEVISED). Also premiering at Hot Docs, the Film soon will be available to watch in Canada.

Season seven of The Clone Wars ended exactly one year ago, and one of the most popular Star Wars shows came to an end. Thankfully though, The Bad Batch is an immediate Sequel to Clone Wars. The first episode, without giving too much away takes place simultaneously to the finale of Clone Wars and provides wonderful action, fight sequences, and more insight as to what went down regarding order 66 and the aftermath.
The Bad Batch focuses on five clones, Hunter, Crosshair, Tech, Wrecker and Echo all voiced by Dee Bradley Baker. They identified group 99, which are our main characters, now have to travel through the galaxy trying to find their way after order 66 was executed. Without any clear objectives, and a world of confusion, our protagonists have to protect themselves and explore their options. With more characters being introduced in future episodes, and even a few surprises in the pilot, there is definitely a lot to be explored and devoured by fans. The Bad Batch will give fans new and old something to look forward to, but if you haven’t seen Clone Wars, make sure to catch-up on that first!
