Paramount+ unveiled a new exclusive scene from its original series STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY during the Paramount+ presentation at CCXP in São Paolo, Brazil, one of the largest fan conventions in the world. The series will premiere globally with 2 episodes on Thursday, January 15 on Paramount+, and in Japan on Tuesday, January 23, 2026.
Series guest star Paul Giamatti, who plays the Klingon and Tellarite “Nus Braka,” was on site to reveal the exclusive scene on stage at CCXP. In the scene, the U.S.S Athena, which serves as both the school and ship for the Starfleet Cadets, comes under sudden attack, only for the assailant to be revealed as Nus Braka.
STAR TREK: STARFLEET ACADEMY introduces viewers to a young group of cadets who come together to pursue a common dream of hope and optimism. Today, Prime Video debuted a brand-new scene from the upcoming second season of Fallout, featuring the iconic location of Novac and the fan favorite Dinky the T-Rex. In the gripping clip, Lucy, The Ghoul and CX404, aka Dogmeat, find themselves at odds with vicious Wastelanders, while navigating their way across the Mojave towards New Vegas. Earlier today, during the series’ panel at CCXP, Brazil’s massive pop-culture fan convention in São Paulo, actors Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, and Justin Theroux presented an in-room only extended look at the scene at Fallout’s Thunder Stage panel attended by over 3,500 enthusiastic fans.
In addition to the show panel, thousands of convention attendees were transported into the world of Fallout through an immersive show-floor activation from Prime Video, which put fans right into the action of the new season and New Vegas with unique encounters and exclusive photo-ops.
The new season will pick up in the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas. The highly anticipated eight-episode season will premiere on December 17, with one episode rolling out weekly until the season finale on February 4, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

For these young women, growing up in Gilead is all they have ever known, having no tangible memories of the outside world prior to their indoctrination into this life. Facing the prospect of being married off and living a life of servitude, they will be forced to search for allies, both new and old, to help in their fight for freedom and the life they deserve.

FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 2 continues its big success for its franchise, opening with $56.5 million from 3,412 theaters for Universal Pictures. This is another smash hit for the studio which still is riding high with WICKED: FOR GOOD last month. This installment gets 13% on the Tomatometer. By contrast, its predecessor bowed with $80 million back in 2023.

Paramount+ announced today that the hit original series LANDMAN has been renewed for a third season.
The second season of LANDMAN premiered on Sunday, November 16th, and is set to be a top three series among all original content the week of November 17th and a top two series for the week of November 24th according to Nielsen preliminary data.
From co-creator Taylor Sheridan, season two also struck viewership records for Paramount+, achieving over 9.2 Million streaming views for its premiere episode in the first two days on service. Views increased by +262% from the first season premiere, making it the most watched premiere for any original series for Paramount+. New episodes debut exclusively on Paramount+ each Sunday.
