BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER bows with a whopping $180 million in its opening from 4,396 theatres for Disney. It gets a stellar 96% on the Tomatometer, and though it doesn’t quite best the $202 million its predecessor made in 2018 in its debut, this still places it in in the Top Ten for MCU openings, the record still held by 2019’s Avengers: Endgame with $357 million. This also sets a record for highest November opening in North America, held previously by THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE with $158 million.
In second is BLACK ADAM, which is dethroned after a three-week reign with $10 million from 3,603 theatres for Warner Bros. Its domestic run now is brought to $152 million.
Third is TICKET TO PARADISE with $6.9 million from 3,633 theatres for Universal Pictures, and a total $56.7 million in its fourth weekend.
LYLE, LYLE CROCODILE lands in fourth with $3.3 million, its tally now at $40.9 million for Sony Pictures.
In fifth is the resilient SMILE with $1.9 million for Paramount Pictures, a total $102.7 million to date here in North America.
For a third straight weekend, BLACK ADAM proves too tough to beat, taking the #1 spot yet again with $15 million from 4,402 theatres for Warner Bros. In its domestic run so far, it has earned $134 million.
Debuting in second is ONCE PIECE FILM: RED for Crunchyroll/Sony Pictures, with $9.5 million from 2,400 theatres. The Animated Feature gets a stellar 95% on the Tomatometer from Critics.
Third is TICKET TO PARADISE with $7.2 million from 3,692 theatres for Universal Pictures, a tally of $45.5 million in its run to date. That’s the power of Julia Roberts and George Clooney in a market missing its Rom-Coms!
Fourth is the resilient SMILE with $3.4 million from 3,221 theatres for Paramount Pictures, a total $98.7 million to date.
Rounding things out is PREY FOR THE DEVIL with $3.3 million from 2,980 theatres for Cineplex Pictures/Lionsgate. It has made $13 million over two weekends.
BLACK ADAM continues to thrive in its second week of release, holding onto top spot at the Box Office again with $30.4 million from 4,402 theatres for Warner Bros. Over two weekends, it has grossed $113.4 million.
Second spot goes to TICKET TO PARADISE with $10.1 million from 3,543 theatres for Universal Pictures, a two weekend tally of $32.6 million for Universal Pictures.
Third is PREY FOR THE DEVIL with $7.8 million from 2,980 theatres in its debut for Lionsgate Films/Cineplex Pictures. The Horror fromt he same Director who brought us The Last Exorcist, gets 17% on the Tomatometer.
In fourth we have SMILE which is $6.6 million for Paramount Pictures. It has had an impressive run catering to Horror fans and edges so close to the $100 million-mark.
Fifth is HALLOWEEN ENDS with $4.4 million for Universal Pictures, a total run of $60.9 million.
BLACK ADAM solidifies Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s standing as a huge megastar on the big screen, debuting at #1 this weekend across North American theatres with $60 million from 4,402 theatres for Warner Bros. While Critics weren’t in love with this latest DC Comics adventure, giving it a 41% on the Tomatometer, this did not deter Moviegoers from helping launch what looks to be the beginning of a new Franchise.
Second spot goes to TICKET TO PARADISE, debuting with $16 million for Universal Pictures, from 3,543 theatres. Critics gave this Rom-Com headlined by A-List Co-Stars George Clooney and Julia Roberts, a mixed 55% on the Tomatometer.
Third is SMILE, still going strong with $8.5 million from 3,296 theatres for Paramount Pictures, now at a tally of $84.5 million over four weeks. Very impressive considering this was made for only $17 million.
In fourth we have HALLOWEEN ENDS with $8 million from 3,901 theatres. Over two weekends it has grossed $54.1 million for Universal Pictures.
LYLE, LYLE CROCODILE rounds this all out with $4.4 million for Sony Pictures, a total $28.9 million over three weekends.
HALLOWEEN ENDS nabs the #1 spot at the Box Office in its opening weekend for Universal Pictures, taking $43.4 million from 3,901 theatres. Despite reviews being less than stellar at 39% on the Tomatometer, this conclusion to David Gordon Green‘s Trilogy still has that appeal to Moviegoers. Best opening ever for the Halloween Franchise though, still goes to 2018’s Halloween which opened with $76 million in North America.
In second is SMILE, dethroned after a two week reign with $12 million from 3,612 theatres, a total $70 million over three weekends for Paramount Pictures.
Third goes to LYLE, LYLE CROCODILE with $7.2 million from 4,350 theatres for Sony Pictures. Over two weekends it has grossed $22.6 million.

At the bottom of the Top Five is AMSTERDAM with $2.9 million, a two week tally of $12 million for 20th Century Studios.
SMILE continues to bring joy to Horror fans at the Box Office, taking the #1 spot yet again with $17.6 million for Paramount Pictures from 3,659 theatres for a total $48 million in its second weekend out. Amazingly, this isn’t far off its first week numbers which means word of mouth is spreading well.
In second is LYLE, LYLE CROCODILE marking Canadian Singer-Songwriter Shawn Mendes‘ acting debut with $11.5 million from 4,350 theatres for Sony Pictures. The Film gets a passing 68% on the Tomatometer.
Third goes to David O. Russell’s AMSTERDAM, debuting with $6.5 million from 3,005 theatres for 20th Century Studios with 33% on the Tomatometer.

BROS debuts in fourth with $4.8 million from 3,350 theatres for Universal Pictures. The first-ever major studio LGBTQ+ Rom-Com gets a stellar 95% on the Tomatometer, getting from tons of positive word of mouth also coming out of its TIFF ’22 Premiere.
