The electrifying rock experience, Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical roars back to Toronto this spring. The operatic rock-n-roll musical is returning to the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre where it first made its North American premiere for six performances only from April 1 – 4, 2026. The new 2026 North American Tour is directed by Jay Scheib in a fresh production designed to leave audiences spellbound from beginning to end.
The timeless music of Jim Steinman and the powerhouse vocals of Meat Loaf explode onto the stage featuring legendary renditions of some of rock’s most iconic anthems, including “I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)”, “Paradise By The Dashboard Light” and “You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth”among other rock classics.
“This new production of Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical is a visual feast that pushes the boundaries of live theatre,” says Glenn Orsher of S2BN. “With a powerhouse live band on stage and sprawling multi-level platforms, audiences are swept into a pulse-pounding world where the music never stops. It is a truly unforgettable, larger-than-life theatrical experience.”

The show kicks off its Canadian engagement in Toronto followed by three scheduled stops in Montreal, QC; London, ON; and Thunder Bay, ON.
Set in the post-apocalyptic city of Obsidian, a group of rebellious, eternally young outsiders known as The Lost flee into the tunnels beneath the city to escape its ruler, Falco.
