#REVIEW: “CREED II”
Review by Siobhán Rich for Mr. Will Wong
The highlight of the original Rocky Franchise was arguably when Rocky Balboa fought Ivan Drago in 1985's Rocky IV. More than a grudge match after Apollo Creed’s death, released at the height of the Cold War, the fight represented America’s superiority over Russia. Lest the Director at the time be thought of as too subtle, the climactic fight was preceded by a performance of Living in America by James Brown. Screenwriters Sylvester Stallone and ...

#REVIEW: “RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET”
Review by Justin Waldman for Mr. Will Wong
Wreck-It Ralph took audiences by surprise six long years ago, now he returns and breaks the internet in the Film's Sequel. The Movie picks-up where we last left-off - everyone doing their jobs in their respective games, then hanging-out across other games after the arcade closes. Ralph Breaks the Internet is one of those rare cases where the Sequel is as great, if not, better than the original, and I for one welcome it all with open arms.

#REVIEW: “HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE LIVE IN CONCERT”
Review by Jonathan Godfrey for Mr. Will Wong
Harry Potter’s symphonic saga continues with the Goblet of Fire. The bi-annual concert series has hit its halfway point, and was attended last night by friends, families and fans of all four Hogwarts Houses. Costumes adorned many in the audience, but whether in wizarding robes or muggle attire, all were enthusiastic throughout.
This is understandable as the Goblet of Fire is one of the most enjoyable movies in the eight-part series. Directed by ...

#REVIEW: “FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE CRIMES OF GRINDELWALD”
Review by George Kozera for Mr. Will Wong
At the end of the deliciously sweet and charming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the chemistry between Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and wizard cop Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston) is established and we hope they wind-up together, like Tina’s psychic sister Queenie (Alison Sudol) has with schlubby, non-magical Polish baker Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler). Credence (Ezra Miller) seems not to have survived after almost ...

#REVIEW: “OUTLAW KING”
Review by George Kozera for Mr. Will Wong
Reuniting Director David Mackenzie and Chris Pine after their successful collaboration in HELL OR HIGH WATER, OUTLAW KING is set in Scotland in 1304 and recounts the story of Robert the Bruce (Pine). First, he submits to being governed by England’s King Edward I, then marries the King’s goddaughter Elizabeth (portrayed sublimely by Florence Pugh) and ultimately rallying Scottish supporters (that include Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Tony Curran) to be ...

#REVIEW: “THE GIRL IN THE SPIDER’S WEB”
Review by George Kozera for Mr. Will Wong
The great test for me to determine if a cinematic adaptation works is going to see a movie while being superficially knowledgeable about the source material. I have never read the Stieg Larrson Trilogy about Lisbeth Salander nor have I seen the Swedish movie adaptations starring Noomi Rapace. I did see David Fincher’s Oscar-nominated English language version of THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO and was very impressed and was looking forward to the ...

#REVIEW: “SUSPIRIA”
Review by Mr. Will Wong
While our dreams were dashed of seeing Suspiria at TIFF '18 with Venice getting a coveted Premiere, patience pays-off as this latest effort from visionary Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name, A Bigger Splash) casts its spell over audiences right as the skies dim on the year, not unlike the Film's signature muted tones.
A Remake of the 1977 Italian Horror by Dario Argento, Guadagnino's passion project sees the light of day finally after some delays getting off the ...

Taking its title from the legendary Queen track, Bohemian Rhapsody chronicles the rise of the popular British band from its early beginnings right through to their incredible performance at the Live Aid charity concert in 1985 while also exploring the personal life of lead singer Freddie Mercury (Rami Malek).
While the story for everyone not named Freddie Mercury is a bit light, fans of Queen will revel in Bohemian Rhapsody’s adoration for the Band. ...
