The update, which went live today, features five newly released shows: the horror series Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen (Ont.); season seven of Virgin River (B.C.); hit figure-skating romance Finding Her Edge (Ont.); K-drama Can This Love Be Translated? (Alta.); and the steamy series adaptation of Julia May Jonas’s book Vladimir (Ont.).
All of these productions were filmed across Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta within the past two years, with several cities and towns making their debut on the Netflix in Your Neighbourhood site. New locations include Brampton, Orillia, Barrie, Wasaga Beach and Tottenham, Ontario; Port Coquitlam and Chilliwack, British Columbia; and Canmore, Banff and Drumheller, Alberta.

VIRGIN RIVER – Based on the New York Times bestseller and beloved Harlequin book series written by author Robyn Carr, Virgin River is a romance story centered around nurse practitioner Melinda Monroe’s move to the remote California town. Now in its seventh season, some of the latest filming locations include Burnaby, Vancouver, Port Coquitlam and Chilliwack, British Columbia.
FINDING HER EDGE – In a desperate attempt to keep her family’s picturesque Ontario ice rink — and Olympic legacy — afloat, a retired figure skater returns to the world of competitive pairs ice dancing with a new bad-boy partner. Finding Her Edge was shot in Orillia, Barrie, Wasaga Beach, Brampton and Tottenham, Ontario.
CAN THIS LOVE BE TRANSLATED? – This new K-drama series follows an unexpected blossoming relationship between a multilingual translator and a global celebrity. This scenic series was filmed against the backdrops of Calgary, Canmore, Kananaskis Country, Banff and Drumheller, Alberta.
VLADIMIR – Adapted from Julia May Jonas’ 2022 novel, Vladimir follows an English professor who becomes obsessed with her handsome new colleague, throwing her already complicated marriage and career into total chaos. This intriguing new series was filmed in Toronto and Uxbridge, Ontario
