Marvel Television and Marvel Animation took to the Empire Stage at New York Comic Con for a showcase presentation of all the Marvel series coming soon to Disney+. The panel was moderated by Phase Hero host Brandon Davis, alongside Head of Marvel Television and Marvel Animation Brad Winderbaum, and featured special guests from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2
Winderbaum kicked things off with a look at Season 2 of Marvel Animation’s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, coming to Disney+ in Fall 2026. Winderbaum teased that Season 2 will bring more Spidey-lore to the screen—and the footage included a sentient black goo that was immediately familiar to fans in the room.
X-Men ‘97 Season 2
Winderbaum was joined on stage by Eric and Julia Lewald, the writers who originally created X-Men: The Animated Series. He announced that the Lewalds, along with original series director Larry Houston, have joined X-Men ‘97 Season 2 as Executive Producers. They talked about what fans can expect from the upcoming season, before sharing footage from X-Men ‘97 Season 2, coming to Disney + in Summer 2026.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2
A New York presentation would not be complete without one of Marvel’s most iconic New York City heroes. Daredevil: Born Again’s Charlie Cox came to the stage to talk about where Season 2 of the hit series will find Matt Murdock/Daredevil. Fans were thrilled when they invited Krysten Ritter, returning to the MCU as Jessica Jones, to join them. She talked about finally returning to the character six years after the end of her eponymous series, before the cast shared a look at Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, coming to Disney+ in March 2026. The group confirmed that Season 3 of the series was already in the works.
Wonder Man
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Sir Ben Kingsley came out to share look at the series that takes audiences behind the scenes of a super hero movie remake: Wonder Man. Kingsley and Abdul-Mateen II talked about working with director Destin Daniel Cretton, shooting in Los Angeles, and the fun of playing a character who is also an actor, before sharing the first trailer for Wonder Man, an 8-episode series debuting on Disney+ January 27, 2026, at 6:00pm PT / 9:00pm ET.
VisionQuest
As one final surprise, Winderbaum returned to talk about VisionQuest, the conclusion of the trilogy that started with WandaVision and continued with last year’s Agatha All Along. He was joined by MCU veteran Paul Bettany, who talked about reuniting with James Spader’s Ultron before sharing an exclusive look at the series coming in 2026.
