BLUE HERON follows a family of six settling into their new home on Vancouver Island as internal dynamics are slowly revealed through the eyes of the youngest child.
“Blue Heron is a film that stays with you—quietly powerful, visually stunning, and deeply human. Sophy brings a singular sensitivity and vision to the story and we are both honored and proud to bring her beautiful film to audiences across Canada,” said Blue Fox Entertainment Canada’s President Dave Hudakoc.
“I’m so grateful to be working with the team at Blue Fox Entertainment Canada to bring this film to Canadian audiences. Their love of cinema and their dedication to preserving the theatrical experience is extremely refreshing and exciting. We know we are in great hands. Blue Heron was made in collaboration with many incredible artists and some of my dearest friends — I can’t wait for everyone to see their talent viewed on the big screen. See you at the cinema!” adds Sophy Romvari, BLUE HERON’s Writer-Director-Producer.
