This barbecue season, Grant’s is serving up three easy-to-make whisky cocktails designed for laid-back summer hosting. Crafted with Grant’s Triple Wood, a smooth, well-balanced whisky matured in three different casks for notes of vanilla, spice, and subtle sweetness, each cocktail delivers a refreshing and versatile serve ideal for warm summer days, pairing with grilled favourites, and toasting to great times with the crew.

GRANT’S BASIL SMASH

Grant’s Basil Smash is a crisp, refreshing whisky cocktail made for warm summer days and pairing with seasonal favourites. Grant’s Triple Wood is shaken with basil, cucumber syrup, and lime to create a bright, smooth, and effortlessly refreshing serve. Pair with grilled flatbreads, heirloom tomato salads, or barbecue chicken with grilled corn on the cobb.

Ingredients:

2 oz Grant’s Triple Wood
4–5 Basil Leaves
0.75 oz Cucumber Syrup
0.75 oz Lime Juice
Basil Leaf

Add Grant’s Triple Wood Blended Scotch Whisky, basil leaves, cucumber syrup, and lime juice into a cocktail shaker. Muddle lightly to release the flavours, then shake over ice until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over ice and garnish with a basil leaf.

GRANT’S TROPICAL REFRESHER

Light, effervescent, and made to enjoy in sunshine, Grant’s Tropical Refresher is a laid-back summer serve with coconut water, lime, and soda. Easy-drinking and light, it’s perfect for patio hangs and long summer afternoons with plenty of crushed ice, light appetizers or wood-fired salmon.

Ingredients:

1.5oz Grant’s Triple Wood
2oz Coconut Water
1oz Lime Juice
Top with Club Soda
Lime Wheel

Combine all ingredients in a highball glass over ice. Stir gently to combine, then garnish with a lime wheel and serve.

GRANT’S & COLA

Always a crowd-pleaser, Grant’s & Cola is the ultimate no-fuss barbecue cocktail. Simple and familiar with Grant’s Triple Wood and cola blended with a citrus twist, this classic summer serve makes for a quintessential drink that mixes well with any summer gathering. Pair it with classic barbecue favourites like burgers or barbecue ribs.

Ingredients:

1.75 oz Grant’s Triple Wood
5 oz Cola
Orange Wedge Studded with Cloves

Fill a highball glass with ice, pour in Grant’s Triple Wood, top with cola, and stir gently to combine. Garnish with an orange wedge and serve.
