Two restaurants helping shape a new generation of Asian dining in Toronto will come together for one night only as four-time MICHELIN Bib Gourmandârecognized Favorites Thai BBQ welcomes Chef David Wei and the team from Chez Wa on June 21, 2026. The evening brings together two distinct approaches to contemporary Asian cuisine: Favorites Thai BBQ’s fire-driven approach to Thai cooking and Chez Wa’s beverage-first philosophy, where food, natural wine, and sake are developed in conversation with one another. Through a six-course tasting menu and curated pairing program, the collaboration explores the intersection of charcoal, spice, acidity, and fermentation, offering guests a rare opportunity to experience the philosophies of both restaurants through a single menu. Priced at $120 per person, the experience will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with reservations available via OpenTable HERE.
