If you’re looking for a reason to get out this week, Toronto just handed you about 300 of them. NXNE, Canada’s longest-running music discovery festival kicks off Wed June 10 and runs through Sun. June 14, 2026, taking over 30 venues across the city. Now in its 31st year, this is the festival’s most ambitious edition yet, with over 300 emerging artists performing showcase sets at some of Toronto’s best live music spots, plus stages popping up at Union Station, Billy Bishop, and Pearson Airport.
And, just announced, Machine Gun Kelly (@mgk) who has spent years defying every genre label, is now bringing that energy to Toronto for something truly special. As part of Billboard Canada THE STAGE at NXNE, MGK is headlining an exclusive late-night intimate set at Hotel X on June 14, 2026.
This is not an arena show. This is MGK up close – the kind of performance fans will be talking about for years.
Beyond the shows, there’s a packed industry summit at TIFF Lightbox, networking events at the W Hotel, and a central Artists’ House hub at CSI Spadina where you can catch live broadcasts and mix with musicians and industry insiders all week long.
It all wraps up Saturday with Billboard THE STAGE, the festival’s closing night concert and the week’s biggest moment.
