THE HISTORY OF CONCRETE is the feature documentary debut of John Wilson, the key creative behind the popular HBO docuseries How To with John Wilson. This humorous film answers the question: How do you sell a documentary about concrete? Wilson’s answer is to attend a workshop on how to write and sell a Hallmark movie.

U.S. distributor Magnolia Pictures will release the film on Friday, September 18, 2026.
