#SPOTTED: OLIVIA DEAN IN TORONTO FOR “THE ART OF LOVING LIVE” TOUR
Playing the first of two sold-out shows, Grammy-winning Singer-Songwriter Olivia Dean brings her THE ART OF LOVING LIVE Tour to Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. The English Songstress has seen her profile skyrocket with two back-to-back smash hits, “The Man I Need” and “So Easy (To Fall in Love)”, which continue still to dominate streams and airwaves after a long run.
Dean divided her show, supported by Baby Rose, into three segments, focusing on material from her two albums Messy and The Art of Loving, plus a Prince cover “I Wanna Be Your Lover“. She delivered an energetic, yet personable experience for her fans that spanned two stages, giving fans a thrill when she surfaced on a second stage. The show ended on a high note with up-tempo numbers which had the crowd on their feet before the air was filled with an explosion of confetti — with inspirational messages inscribed nonetheless.
“Carmen” was dedicated to immigrants and her grandmother, telling the audience that her grandparents are Jamaican and Guyanese, bravely starting new lives in London, which would pave her destiny today. Dean and her crew were later spotted that night at Woody’s on Church Street, where she was spotted.
