INK Entertainment announces the opening of Little Baba by AMAL, opening January 28, 2026 at 75 Portland Street in the heart of King West. Led by the Michelin-recommended restaurant AMAL, Little Baba brings the brand’s signature Middle Eastern flavours and attention to detail into a format designed for the pace of downtown living, offering both dine-in and takeout.
Charles Khabouth (Founder and CEO) and Danny Soberano (Co-Owner and President) continue to expand INK Entertainment’s portfolio with Little Baba, translating AMAL’s signature cuisine into a format built for modern city life. The concept delivers chef-driven meals that are fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and accessible, showing that convenience and culinary excellence can coexist.
“Little Baba is our take on modern, authentic Lebanese food,” says Charles Khabouth, Founder and CEO, INK Entertainment. “It’s rooted in flavour and tradition, but designed for how people live today, quick, clean, and thoughtfully made. We focused on freshness, balance, and accessibility, offering full meals that feel good to eat, at a price point that makes sense. As dining habits evolve and people become more mindful of value, this is about giving them quality and choice, without ever compromising the experience.”
Designed for quick visits, casual dine-in moments (with limited seating), and meals on the move, Little Baba delivers a refined experience rooted in consistency, craftsmanship, and care. From the way dishes are prepared to how they are packaged, every element reflects INK Entertainment’s approach to thoughtful hospitality.
The name Little Baba is rooted in meaning. In Lebanese culture, “Baba” translates to father, a symbol of warmth, generosity, and gathering around food. That spirit sits at the heart of the concept, reflecting AMAL’s approach to hospitality: familiar flavours prepared with care, meant to be enjoyed often, whether dining in, taking it to go, or sharing a meal at home.
Overseeing the culinary direction at Little Baba is AMAL’s Executive Chef Rony Ghaleb, ensuring the same authenticity, quality, and attention to detail that have defined the Michelin-recommended restaurant. By using the same suppliers, recipes, and standards as AMAL, Little Baba delivers chef-driven Lebanese cuisine designed for everyday dining without compromise.
The Menu
Inspired by AMAL’s culinary philosophy, Little Baba’s menu focuses on fresh ingredients, bold Middle Eastern flavours, and a wide range of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options, all designed to travel well without losing integrity.
“With Little Baba, my goal is to share the soul of AMAL with people who may not always be able to visit us,” says Executive Chef Rony Ghaleb. “It’s the same Lebanese flavours, the same quality and care, but in a more accessible and affordable way.
Lebanese food is meant to be shared by everyone, across all walks of life, and Little Baba allows us to do exactly that without compromise.”
Guests can choose from vibrant salads, including Fattoush, Tabbouleh, Village Salad, and Coleslaw, alongside a selection of house-made dips such as Hummus, Basil Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, and Muhammara.
The sandwich offering spans Tawook, Tenderloin, Kefta, Halloumi, Falafel, Fried Cauliflower, and a signature Fries sandwich, served in a pita, with a lettuce-wrap option available.
Sides include fries, rice, tzatziki, and toum, while the fryer features Truffle Rakakat, Spinach Fatayer, Fried Kibbeh, and Cheese Sambousek.
Little Baba represents a new chapter for INK Entertainment, where a taste of AMAL’s authentic cuisine meets modern city life on the go. While dine-in and takeout launch January 27, delivery will debut early February, extending the Little Baba experience across Toronto with the same standards guests expect in person.
