#REVIEW: “THE HONEST THIEF”
By Justin Waldman for Mr. Will Wong
Liam Neeson has seem to star in the same movie dozens of times in the past 12 years, often starring as the man with a particular set of skills reaping vengeance on those who have done him wrong. Honest Thief is on-brand for Neeson. He is a man on a mission and will be stopped at nothing. This is Mark Williams’ first time directing and a credible effort.
The Movie focuses on Tom (Liam Neeson), who has been dubbed the ‘In and Out Bandit’ by the FBI, for ...

#REVIEW: “FATMAN”
By Justin Waldman for Mr. Will Wong
'Tis the season to be jolly - unless you're talking about new Christmas Comedy, Fatman, then it’s time to be get angry and seek vengeance. Eshom and Ian Nelms write and direct the darkly-comical Fatman, that packs a social commentary that is timely given current world events. While the Movie's general premise is all sorts of ridiculous, the performances from the Main Cast create what is the perfect Anti-Christmas movie.
The Movie focuses on Billy (Chance ...

#REVIEW: “STARDUST”
Review by David Baldwin for Mr. Will Wong
It is 1971 and David Bowie (Johnny Flynn) is traveling to the United States for the first time. He is a virtual unknown and hoping to gain some traction despite his latest record flopping. It is on this journey that Bowie will be inspired to become Ziggy Stardust.
While I admire Co-Writer/Director Gabriel Range boldly opening Stardust with the rather innocuous phrase “What follows is [mostly] fiction” (alongside an all-too brief homage to 2001: A ...

By Justin Waldman for Mr. Will Wong
2020 has been a whirlwind rough year all around, and sometimes it is nice just to unwind, relax, and watch something absolutely unhinged and extensively fun, Vanguard is exactly that. #REVIEW: “THE DONUT KING”
Review by George Kozera for Mr. Will Wong
To this day, I still have vivid memories, as a young boy in Montreal, of being taken to RBI Richstone Bakery for a chocolate glazed doughnut while my mother waited to have the live chicken she picked out for dinner to be slaughtered and plucked at the open air market across the street. It instilled in me my love of doughnuts and I do take credit for buying a few of the 500,136,000 doughnuts Tim Hortons sold in Canada in 2011.Hence, I salivated over the ...

#REVIEW: “COME AWAY”
Review by Justin Waldman for Mr. Will Wong
