Happy Midautumn Festival. In Chinese culture today, we celebrate and worship the Moon for bountiful harvests. We observe with traditions like eating #Mooncakes, which are a pastry filled with a sweet, rich paste made of various nuts like Lotus Seeds. They are placed in elaborate decadent packaging, usually collectable tins.

Several creative varieties have surfaced and are available at many different price points, the priciest ones going for $100+ for a box of 4 by famed Peninsula Hotel.

My Mom tells me my Grandma could never afford them growing-up so she'd always wait till they went on-sale the day after and they'd feast. Understandable, since she had to feed a family of eight.

Some of my favourites are by Maxims of Hong Kong, T&T and Bake Code. There are ice cream varieties and fun ones even like Pandan, Durian and Molten Lava centers which are trendy.

#TIFF21: An amazing way to cap-off #TIFF! Visionary #StevenSoderbergh comes to premiere a top-secret project tonight at Princess of Wales Theatre. The Film that screened tonight was called MR. KNEFF, a Silent Film with only music and background noises. The Film is subtitled and 15 years ago he had a second go at it, though the Film still is incomplete. The Film originally was titled KAFKA starring Jeremy Irons, though all dialogue has been removed and some hues were adjusted. The Film was made originally about 30 years ago.

#TIFF21: In addition to @beaniewong, my other best sidekick this #TIFF was the gorgeous 2021 #AcuraTLX in Phantom Violet Pearl.

Packed with power and lightning quick on the acceleration, this was a dream drive! It operates at 272 horsepower with a VTEC® turbocharged engine.

Really appreciated the guided parking in this car's rear camera as it helped me navigate several tricky spots downtown. But things like collision warning are priceless as it is super-mindful about keeping you out of harm's way. Let's face it, Toronto drivers are in it for themselves. The TLX is alert and on the prowl for any warning signs! I was able to drive around four days to screenings, events and for star sightings, and only use less than half a tank of gas. Who doesn't want fuel economy, especially with gas prices so high right now?

We love its audio system, everything sounding gorgeous and the abundance of connectivity options including a smartly-placed wireless charging plate for my phone.

Above this, this vehicle is super-elegant and sleek with high-grade leather seating and gorgeous blue ambient lighting! A standing ovation for this masterpiece! 🎬👏
