#FIRSTLOOK: “STAR SEARCH” COMING TO NETFLIX JANUARY 2026

Netflix’s iconic talent competition series, Star Search, will premiere live on January 13, 2026 with Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actor Anthony Anderson set to host.

Episodes will air live Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9:00 PM ET / 6:00 PM PT and will include real-time voting to let the viewers help determine which contestants move forward.

#INTERVIEW: THE CAST AND CREATORS OF “HEATED RIVALRY”

Based on Rachel Reid‘s wildly-popular GAME CHANGERS books, anticipation is great for upcoming Crave Original series HEATED RIVALRY. Above this, it has just been announced that HBO Max also has picked-up the Series, giving it exponential potential now that it has such a wide audience.

The Series centers on two rising stars in Hockey, Shane (Hudson Williams) and Ilya (Connor Storrie) who duke it out on the rink, before realizing their attraction to one another. This leads to a secret affair that spans several years, set against a backdrop of stigma where being outed might affect their careers adversely.

A Toronto Premiere was held at TIFF Lightbox last night with the Creators, including Reid and Series Director Jacob Tierney, plus the Cast in-attendance. Having seen the first episode of the Series, get ready for things to get real spicy! It isn’t every day a Canadian series has the opportunity this big, so we are expecting big things ahead.

Just For Laughs VANCOUVER today announced an exciting lineup of over 100 shows featuring more than 250 artists set to mark a decade of hilarity as the Festival celebrates its milestone 10th anniversary with eleven days of can’t-miss performances. With the name “Vladimir,” few people expect a Dominican from The Bronx to take the stage. His comedic style is the fruit of an immigrant Dominican family living in the cultural mecca that is New York City and is described as an elegant combination of urban grit and intellect. He began polishing his wit in the concrete jungles of The Bronx and Washington Heights and after graduating from Wesleyan University launched into stand-up comedy. After his standout performance at Just for Laughs in 2015, Vlad entered a pilot development deal to co-write, and star in a pilot based off of his comedy for NBC with Bill Lawrence and WB supervising. Vlad co-wrote the script with “Undateable” writerAdam Styzikiel and recently shot the pilot directed by Phill Lewis. Vlad was the only one of his New Faces class to be chosen to perform as part of the CW Gala hosted by Howie Mandel. In 2016, Vlad was named one of the Top 10 Comics to Watch by Variety and was honored at Just for Laughs. #FOOD: ARIANNA AT THE HARBOUR SIXTY FEATURED ON “TOP CHEF CANADA”

Tonight, November 25, 2025, Top Chef Canada brings its high-stakes culinary competition to Arianna at the Harbour Sixty, one of Toronto’s newest and most dynamic dining destinations. Airing on the Flavour Network at 10 PM ET/PT, Episode 7: “Time vs. Money” puts the spotlight on the landmark property and features Harbour Sixty’s Executive Chef Solomon Mason as a guest judge in a decisive Elimination Challenge.

In a Top Chef Canada first, Judges Mark McEwan, David Zilber, Janet Zuccarini, and Mijune Pak step out from behind the judging table and into the kitchen as sous-chefs for a lively Quickfire Challenge.

For the Elimination Challenge, the final four chefs face a defining choice:
Cook with humble ingredients and gain precious time—or splurge on premium ingredients with the clock working against them.

#FIRSTLOOK: “ALL’S FAIR” RENEWED FOR SEASON TWO ON DISNEY+

Today, Disney+ announced that Ryan Murphy’s “All’s Fair” has been renewed for season two. Season one of “All’s Fair” launched on November 4 and became the biggest Hulu Original scripted series premiere in three years, based on the first three days of streaming. “All’s Fair” has also dominated social conversation with more that 10 billion impressions to date (reporting window October 8, 2025 – November 20, 2025).

“All’s Fair” season one is currently streaming on Hulu on Disney+ in Canada with new episodes available Tuesdays. The two-episode season finale will debut on December 9.

In “All’s Fair,” a team of female divorce attorneys leave a male-dominated firm to open their own powerhouse practice. Fierce, brilliant, and emotionally complicated, they navigate high-stakes breakups, scandalous secrets, and shifting allegiances—both in the courtroom and within their own ranks.
