Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, and Mark Ruffalo star in CRIME 101, which just had a photo call in Madrid. This Amazon MGM Studios release hits theatres February 13, 2026.
Set against the sun-bleached grit of Los Angeles, Crime 101 weaves the tale of an elusive jewel thief (Chris Hemsworth) whose string of heists along the 101 freeway have mystified police. When he eyes the score of a lifetime, his path crosses that of a disillusioned insurance broker (Halle Berry) who is facing her own crossroads. Convinced he has found a pattern, a relentless detective (Mark Ruffalo) is closing in, raising the stakes even higher. As the heist approaches, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur, and all three are faced with life-defining choices–and the realization that there can be no turning back.
Adapted from Don Winslow’s acclaimed novella of the same name, the film is written and directed by Bart Layton (American Animals, The Imposter). Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte round out the cast.

Written and Directed by: Boots Riley
Starring: Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, Taylour Paige, Poppy Liu, Eiza González, LaKeith Stanfield, Will Poulter, with Don Cheadle & Demi Moore
A crew of professional shoplifters takes aim at a cutthroat fashion maven. It’s like community service.
Two of Toronto’s most acclaimed chefs, Chef Nuit Regular (PAI, Kiin, Tha Phae Tavern, Chaiyo, Sukhothai, Makilala) and Chef Eva Chin (Yan Dining Room, The Soy Luck Club), are reuniting for their highly anticipated Lunar New Year collaboration dinner, returning after two consecutive sold-out years.
Celebrating the Year of the Fire Horse, the 2026 edition unfolds over two intimate evenings: February 19
at Kiin and February 20 at Yan Dining Room. Rooted in friendship and a shared philosophy around
storytelling, hospitality and flavour, the collaboration comes to life through an exclusive eight-course
chef’s tasting menu that blends Northern Thai and Northern Chinese cuisines.
Drawing from their shared culinary foundations, the menu explores common threads between both
traditions, from noodles and pork to time-honoured techniques such as stir-frying, steaming and
fermentation. These elements allow the chefs to move seamlessly between cuisines, creating dishes that
feel both comforting and unexpected.
Guests can expect handcrafted plates that balance comfort and complexity, including dumplings paired
with shellfish bisque and chilli oil, prosperity-inspired housemade tofu, and longevity noodles enriched
with slow-simmered pork bone and tomato ragout. Charcoal-grilled meats anchor the menu, while
desserts close the evening with contrast, texture and nostalgia through elements such as crispy rice,
coconut-pandan gelato, tamarind caramel and charcoal-roasted sweet potato.
“This collaboration continues to be one of the highlights of our year,” says Chef Eva Chin. “Each dinner
gives us the opportunity to honour our shared traditions while creating something new together. Lunar
New Year is about generosity, connection and starting the year with intention, and we love expressing that through this menu.”
Chef Nuit Regular adds, “Working with Chef Eva always feels natural because we share the same respect
for heritage and storytelling through food. Lunar New Year is such a meaningful moment for both of us,
and we are excited to welcome guests back to celebrate with a menu that reflects our roots and our
friendship.”
Known for its intimacy and attention to detail, this annual dinner has become a Lunar New Year ritual for
many Toronto diners. With limited seating and a history of selling out, the two-night experience invites guests to welcome the new year through food that is generous, expressive and rooted in shared
celebration.
Limited seating, reservations are strongly encouraged.

Ann Shin, CEO of the award-winning Canadian production company Fathom Film Group, today announced Fathom is joining forces with Nicole Butler, former co-CEO of Pier 21 Films Ltd. and Executive Producer of “Late Bloomer” seasons 1-2, “Run the Burbs”, and “Don’t Even”. The announcement comes ahead of Prime Time in Ottawa, where Shin and Butler will be in attendance, and reflects Fathom’s continued growth and evolution into a multi-genre producer, developing scripted drama and comedy alongside its established slate of unscripted and true crime programming.
Butler will lead development of new scripted projects, while Ann Shin expands her role as CEO, maintaining oversight of the company’s overall vision and its full slate of scripted and unscripted content. This announcement follows other recent strategic hires, including Philip Svoboda as Head of Business Affairs, underscoring the company’s investment in infrastructure to support increased production volume and creative ambition.
“Collaborating with Ann to help shape a scripted slate within a company that already has such a distinct creative identity is exciting,” said Nicole Butler. “There’s a strong foundation of excellent work and meaningful IP at Fathom, and I’m eager to build on this to develop bold, character-driven stories.”
“Fathom has always been driven by incredible access, deep research, and strong authorial voice. We’re excited to bring Nicole on board to help translate that DNA into premium scripted with real momentum. Her deep industry experience and expertise position the company for long-term creative and business sustainability,” said Ann Shin, CEO.
Fathom currently has two true crime documentary series in production with major platforms, four feature documentaries in the pipeline, and a growing slate of comedy and drama projects—including a procedural series emerging from the award-winning work of Ann Shin. The company is also working with acclaimed writing talent, including Gorrman Lee (Wild Cards, The Imperfects), while sourcing headline-grabbing intellectual property.
The expansion into scripted also reflects a broader diversification strategy in response to ongoing industry shifts. In addition to traditional platform partnerships, Fathom has been building a direct-to-audience presence through a YouTube true crime vertical launched in 2025, leveraging owned IP, research, and long-standing participant relationships to expand its footprint in the creator space.
The announcement comes as Fathom positions itself for its next phase, supported by a newly formed board of advisors, including Ira Levy and Steve Denure and a leadership structure designed to enhance agility and competitiveness in a rapidly changing content landscape.

Tara Bosch (SmartSweets), Vancouver BC – Appeared in Season 12 before growing SmartSweets into the #1 low-sugar candy brand in North America, ultimately selling the company for $360M CAD in 2020. Bosch now invests in and mentors founders through Bold Beginnings, the initiative she launched to inject early-stage capital into female-led ideas.
Joanna Griffiths (Knix), Toronto ON – First pitched in Season 9 and went on to scale Knix into one of the world’s fastest-growing intimate apparel brands, pioneering the leakproof category and body-inclusive marketing. Marc Lafleur (truLOCAL/DB8 Labs), Cornwall ON – Secured a deal in Season 12 and went on to scale truLOCAL into a national subscription service specializing in locally farmed meats before selling the company for $16.7M CAD. Lafleur later authored the Amazon bestseller True Founder and is the Founder of AI venture studio, DB8 Labs.

Since then, The 7 Virtues has grown into the only Canadian perfume brand sold at Sephora, now in over 2,100 stores across 19 countries, recently attracting investment from Unilever Ventures, and continues to expand globally within Sephora and has plans to open more perfume ateliers in North America.
For twenty seasons, Dragons’ Den has helped shape Canada’s entrepreneurial landscape, offering early capital, national visibility and mentorship at formative stages for many brands. Building on that legacy, Dragons’ Den Full Circle marks the first time that alumni will return to the Den, where their journeys began, to pay it forward.
