Academy Award-nominated Actress Naomi Watts is in Toronto today for her latest venture, STRIPES BEAUTY. The pro-aging product line geared to wellness and beauty for women approaching menopause, is thoughtful and innovative, including creams, masks, oils and serums. It was just announced earlier this month the collection will be sold at The Bay in Canada, coincidentally or not, keeping in-line with the giant’s stripe motif in their branding. Lines of best fit!
We love Watts for her outstanding work in films and television like 21 Grams, Mulholland Drive, FEUD Capote vs. The Swans and The Impossible. And if she’s that’s believable on-screen, women should believe that Stripes Beauty are the real deal as well!
Watts will appear at The Bay Queen Street at 4 PM today, chatting with Tracy Moore about STRIPES BEAUTY, her life and career and the conversation is open to the public on the main floor. Always so lovely and gracious, the British-Australian star did the rounds earlier today, stopping to meet fans after an appearance at BT!
She stars next in EMMANUELLE and reunites with her St. Vincent Co-Star Bill Murray in THE FRIEND.

We absolutely adore Paula Abdul and growing-up in the late ’80s, we literally were obsessed owning 45s and cassettes. After supporting New Kids on the Block on their The Magic Summer Tour, she will be bringing her self-headlining Straight Up! To Canada Tour across the country this Fall with support from fellow icons Tiffany and Taylor Dayne.
The Dancer, Singer, Choreographer and TV Personality made history with a record six number one Billboard Hot 100 hits including her signature track “Straight Up”, “Forever Your Girl”, “Cold Hearted”, “Opposites Attract”, “Rush Rush” and “The Promise of a New Day”. She did all this with her first two albums, which would be unheard-of today.
Abdul has visited the City in the past for philanthropic work for the Jewish community, but it is rare that Toronto got a chance to see her perform and promote! As always, she is the sweetest, most gracious person and does she ever look amazing still?

Synopsis:
When an American family is invited to spend the weekend at the idyllic country estate of a charming British family they befriended on vacation, what begins as a dream holiday soon warps into a snarled psychological nightmare.
From Blumhouse, the producer of The Black Phone, Get Out and The Invisible Man, comes an intense suspense thriller for our modern age, starring BAFTA award-winner James McAvoy (Split, Glass) in a riveting performance as the charismatic, alpha-male estate owner whose untrammeled hospitality masks an unspeakable darkness.
Speak No Evil stars Mackenzie Davis (Terminator: Dark Fate, Halt and Catch Fire) and SAG award-winner Scoot McNairy (Argo, A Quiet Place Part II) as American couple Louise and Ben Dalton, who, along with their 11-year-old daughter Agnes (Alix West Lefler; The Good Nurse, Riverdale), accept the weekend-holiday invitation of Paddy (McAvoy), his wife Ciara (Aisling Franciosi; Game of Thrones, The Fall) and their furtive, mute son Ant (newcomer Dan Hough).
Written for the screen and directed by James Watkins, the writer-director of Eden Lake and the award-winning gothic ghost story The Woman in Black, Speak No Evil is based on the screenplay of the 2022 Danish horror sensation Gæsterne, written by Christian Tafdrup and Mads Tafdrup. That film earned 11 Danish Film Awards nominations, the Danish equivalent of the Oscars.
Speak No Evil is produced by Jason Blum (Five Nights at Freddy’s, M3GAN) for Blumhouse and by Paul Ritchie (McMafia, The Ipcress File) and is executive produced by Beatriz Sequeira for Blumhouse, Jacob Jarek and Christian Tafdrup.
