#BOXOFFICE: “FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 2” TERRORIZES IN DEBUT

FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 2 continues its big success for its franchise, opening with $56.5 million from 3,412 theaters for Universal Pictures. This is another smash hit for the studio which still is riding high with WICKED: FOR GOOD last month. This installment gets 13% on the Tomatometer. By contrast, its predecessor bowed with $80 million back in 2023.

ZOOTOPIA 2 slips to second this weekend, with $45 million from 4,000 theatres. It has grossed $222.4 over two weekends for Disney.

WICKED: FOR GOOD is in third with $15.6 million, a three week total of $295.8 million domestically.

JUJUTSU KASEN: EXECUTION debuts jn fourth witgl $9.7 million for GKids/Cineplex Pictures.

NOW YOU SEE ME: NOW YOU DON’T rounds things off with $3.6 million for Lionsgate/Cineplex Pictures, a four-week run of $55.4 million
