#FIRSTLOOK: “COUNTDOWN TO AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY OFFICIAL PODCAST” DEBUTS

Marvel has launched the “Countdown to Avengers: Doomsday Official Podcast,” a new video podcast on Disney+, as the film’s December 18, 2026, theatrical release nears. The first episode debuts today.

The podcast is hosted by Iman Vellani, the star of Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series “Ms. Marvel,” and Frank Alvarez, a renowned podcast host from “The Basement Yard.” Together, the pair rewatch and discuss films from Marvel Studios’ The Infinity Saga, working their way to “Avengers: Doomsday.”

The video podcast is available across Disney+, YouTube and audio platforms and covers five films from Marvel Studios’ The Infinity Saga: “The Avengers,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Captain America: Civil War,” “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame.” All five films are available to stream on Disney+ in “Marvel Studios’ The Infinity Saga” Collection, and the fifth episode will coincide with the September 25, 2026, re-release of “Avengers Endgame: Encore” in theatres.

September 3 – “Avengers: Age of Ultron”
September 10 – “Captain America: Civil War”
September 17 – “Avengers: Infinity War”
September 24 – “Avengers: Endgame”

In each episode, Vellani and Alvarez revisit one film with a recap and in-depth conversation. The pair talk through specific scenes and give insight into the Avengers’ journey, all while celebrating the MCU’s most iconic moments. Every episode points toward “Avengers: Doomsday,” as the hosts speculate about the themes, characters and stories that might shape the reunion ahead.
