Oh, Brad. Why? The Marketing Masterminds at Chanel apparently thought this was a brilliant idea, but Fans are panning it hard. In less than 48 hours after being posted on Chanel‘s YouTube Channel, Brad Pitt’s first in a Series of Spots for the Fashion House’s Signature Fragrance Chanel No. 5, has generated 42% “Dislikes”.
The 30-second Ad which shows Pitt in Black and White reciting a Monologue which reflects upon his Destiny and Success, really has little to do with the Fragrance. This poses the question on all of our minds just how with the $7-million he was paid for this Gig, where the rest of the budget went to?

Why I’m criticizing this is because Chanel has put-out some fabulous Spots in the past and to be honest, if it’s not on the level of this Nicole Kidman & Baz Luhrmann Collaboration for the Fragrance, they shouldn’t even bother trying! Our expectations have been raised impossibly high ever since!
