Toronto is vibrating with energy and excitement as the Toronto Blue Jays head to the World Series for the first time in more than 30 years! Game one starts tomorrow, Friday, October 24, 2025 at 8pm, and whether you’re a diehard fan or one of the many visitors to Toronto, you might be wondering where the best places are to catch the game (that is, if you don’t have a ticket to the big show!). Destination Toronto’s got you covered – there’s no shortage of spots to cheer on the Jays and soak up the city’s infectious baseball spirit.
Here’s a roundup of some of Toronto’s hotspots to catch all the baseball action:
Real Sports Bar & Grill – 15 York Street – The place to be on game day! This mega sports venue features 199 TVs (including Toronto’s largest screen) and a full menu complete with a kiddie menu and extensive dietary options from gluten-free to vegan.
The Loose Moose – 146 Front Street W – A local favourite, the always-jam-packed Loose Moose on Front offers all the frenetic game-day atmosphere plus 50+ varieties of beer on tap.
The Dock Ellis – 1280 Dundas St W – Diehard Toronto baseball fans know that this is the ultimate spot for watching the Jays win. With a rotating craft beer menu, pool tables for pre-game fun, and walls with retro Jays memorabilia.
Toronto Marriott City Centre – 55 Bremner Blvd – Watching the game from a fieldview room is a BUCKET LIST item for sports fans. And what better time than the World Series to splurge on this iconic, only-in-Toronto experience. Rooms sleep up to 5 guests, no tickets required, room service at your fingertips, both family- and pet-friendly. The last remaining rooms for the World Series are now available.
The Rec Room – 255 Bremner Blvd – Fun for the whole family, The Rec Room is a 40,000 sq ft entertainment hub with arcade, VR experience and more. Enjoy the full menu and one of the Rec’s 80+ big screens to watch the game.
King Taps – 100 King St W – For elevated vibes, swing by the Financial District’s King Taps location. This two-storey bar with expansie menu is great for the post-work happy hour crowd.
Shakey’s Bar + Grill – 2255 Bloor St W – This neighbourhood hangout is a great spot to catch the big game with tasty food and a friendly atmosphere that spills out on the sidewalk.
Sportsnet Grill – 1 Blue Jays Way – Located inside the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel with views overlooking the field, this might just be the most coveted reservation in town!
Steam Whistle – 255 Bremner Blvd – Right across from the Rogers Centre, you’ll hear the roar of the crowd as you enjoy the game and a pint. The Steam Whistle Brewery opens its Tap Room on Friday and Kitchen on Saturday, with patio for overflow, for games one and two.
RendezViews – 229 Richmond St W – Views of the CN Tower, beer buckets, fire pits, lawn seating, and a massive big screen (with sound on), the RendezViews watch parties for games one and two of the World Series (further games weather dependent) will make every inning unforgettable. Open one hour in advance of games on a first-come, first-served basis.
Left Field Brewery – 36 Wagstaff Dr OR 40 Hanna Ave – Don’t leave your pup behind! This pet-friendly hotspot lets you cheer on the Jays, enjoy classic stadium snacks like caramel corn and ballpark pretzels, all with your best friend right by your side.
The Churchmouse – 475 Church – A little more low-key than other spots around town, the Churchmouse offers a cozy and inclusive atmosphere in the Church-Wellesley Village for great grub and friendly fandom.
Around town:
If you’re one of the lucky few with a ticket, don’t forget that the CN Tower is offering a 15% discount for World Series ticket holders – a great way to take in some city views before the big game. Complete your sports-lovers Toronto itinerary with a trip to the Hockey Hall of Fame or batting cages at Baseline Sports.
It’s Joey Bats! Toronto couldn’t be more lucky to have its star right-fielder José Bautista back in action after a toe injury. While the Toronto Blue Jays were performing fine without the star, who has been at the center of much discussion of late as a pending free agent. With an impending non-waiver trade deadline due on August 1, 2016, it seems unlikely our trademark Batflipper will be traded.
Prior to heading-out to participate at the annual José Bautista Celebrity Golf Classic, he did some press including a stop at Breakfast Television on CITY, arriving an hour past his originally-scheduled 7:00 AM appearance. Opting for a hidden entrance to the appearance, he more than made up for his tardiness, rewarding Fans with autographs and Selfies before leaving in an unsuspecting vehicle.
We admit, we don’t know much about Baseball, but Bautista has helped us understand and want to learn more! He better not be going anywhere!

Toronto is in for a huge treat as the Stars of eagerly-awaited Summer Blockbuster Transformers: Age of Extinction have arrived for a day of Press in the City! Lined-up Breakout Stars Nicola Peltz (Bates Motel) and Jack Reynor (Delivery Man) are appearances on some of our biggest programs like eTalk, Entertainment Tonight Canada and City‘s Breakfast Television!
The Duo had the honours of throwing first pitch at tonight’s Toronto Blue Jays vs. Minnesota Twins game at Rogers Centre. Reynor showed his spirit, modelling for me his custom-made Transformers 4 Blue Jays Jersey! Love it.
Both Actors came with their respective Entourages and were great sports stopping to snap a Photo with me! Peltz, widely regarded as one of Hollywood’s new faces to look out for, even was nice enough to remove her jacket, showing her amazing top off after what looked like an awesome dinner! “Thanks for being amazing!”, the stunning Actress – who appears in the current issue of Interview Magazine (read more here) – told me as she leaned in for what turned out to be five Snaps!
